Dr Marcelle Jagga, MBChB, DA(SA), FCA(SA), FANZCA, MMed(UCT), is a consultant cardiac anaesthetist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and a MACHSR Future Leader Fellow. Previously a consultant anaesthetist at Groote Schuur Hospital, he brings clinical and academic experience from both South Africa and Australia. His interests within the PCRG focus on cardiovascular risk assessment and optimisation, evidence-based perioperative care, and improving outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease undergoing non-cardiac surgery.
